What is X?

Every day, leaders get going to solve for X.
This is the math that we all hated when initially learning algebra.  What does X mean?  Solve for X.

As a leader, X is truly a variable - it can be different everyday.
The questions we need to learn to ask are numerous.  The most important question we should ask so that we can solve for X is:
what is the problem we are trying to solve?
This is usually not an easy question to answer as it can be very complex.  We need to find enough focus to simplify the question by narrowing down the selection of responses.  This way, solving for X becomes clear.  Clarity is the key to great delegation, excellent productivity, superior results and an engaged and collaborative team.

If everyone know what X is (the problem), then solving it becomes clearer too.
